To ensure the best possible experience, it's crucial that we get accurate information about your house. This page will guide you through the simple yet essential steps to prepare for your custom projection show.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Map Your House
To create a projection show that fits your home like a glove, we need a detailed map of your house. This map should be a line drawing that includes all architectural features such as doors, windows, and any unique elements of your home's facade.

For manual mapping: Draw a simple outline of your house's front view. Include all key features (doors, windows, etc.). The more details, the better!

For Luxedo projector users: If you own a Luxedo projector, create a snapshot using the projector.
Step 2: Taking Photos of Your House
Along with the map, we need photos of your house taken both during the day and at night.
Daytime photo: Take a clear photo of your house in daylight. Ensure it's well-lit and shows the entire facade.
Nighttime photo: Take another photo at night with the projector turned on at the correct angle. This helps us understand how the light interacts with your house.
Once you have your map and photos, please send those to info@jollyholidayshows.com
Step 3: Testing and Verification
Once we receive your house map and photos, we'll send you a test video featuring a rainbow video mapped to your house. It’s imperative to use the same media player and projector setup for the test as you will for the actual show.
Test Video: Watch the test video carefully and ensure the projection lines match up with your house's features.
Feedback: If something seems off, don’t hesitate to contact us. Accurate alignment is key for a stunning show!
Please note: If you bump/move/change anything with your setup, it will almost always mess up your projection show. PLEASE do not change anything once you give approval on the testing video.
Step 4: Verifying your new show!
Once we finish building your show to your map or snapshot, we'll request feedback to make sure it's lining up well.

Note on change requests: We try and be flexible to accommodate change requests, but try to understand that sometimes small changes can be a difficult task and require an additional charge. If a change request is large enough to require a charge, we will let you know before we make the change and get your approval.
